What are the tips to control ageing?
Aging is a combination of bodily changes and
the impact of how we take care of ourselves. As we get older, hormonal changes lead to dry
skin and our skin would become
thinner, loses fat, and it no longer looks as plump and smooth as it once did.
Ageing is an inevitable and irreversible process but
by following few tips you can delay the signs of ageing.
Some of
the useful tips to control ageing are:
- Usage of anti-aging lotions, serums, and creams
- Regular Facial exercises for at least 15-20 min in a day
- Focus more on leading an active lifestyle
- Eat a balanced diet
- Reduce your stress levels and do
things that make you happy
- Eat
food that is rich in antioxidants
- Engaging
in regular physical activity for
at least 40-60 minutes
- Maintaining healthy behaviours throughout life
- Reduce the consumption of salts and sugars
- Get
regular health check-ups
- Eat food that
contains omega-3 fatty acids that promote smoother and younger-looking
skin
- Add fresh fruits
and vegetables in your daily diet.
- Refrain from smoking as it would contribute to
premature skin aging and wrinkles
- Avoid
overexposure to the cold waves.
- If
you drink alcohol, then moderation is the key as excessive alcohol
consumption would make your skin dehydrated and make it more likely to
appear dry, dull and creepy.
- Sleep for at least 6-8 hrs in a day
- Have more of protein rich food as
protein food helps to build and maintain
muscle mass, which we tend to lose as we age
- Regular exercises would help you look and feel younger than your
years
- Have plenty of
water, at least 3-4 liters per day
- Try
to avoid being in sun during peak times when the sun's rays are strongest
